EFO™ — End Fastening Object

Universal End Clamps for XR Rails

The IronRidge EFO™ is here. We redesigned the end-clamp system for XR Rails®, which originally used Stopper Sleeves to turn UFO® mid clamps into end clamps. Those slowdowns are no more.

End Fastening Objects—EFO™—provide enhanced engagement on modules and support frame heights of 30 to 40mm. This universal end clamp is a single-piece component that speeds up installation times, especially when modules vary by project.

A Closer Look at EFO™

Module Tolerances for Frame Thickness Can Vary

Having a specified height of 30mm does not always mean a module will arrive on a roof that precise. EFO is universal to make installs easier. And an integrated bonding pin under the clamp head ensures it remains flush to the module when being tightened down.

A key feature that mimics that of the UFO® is the long T-bolt that gives the clamp a sleek, simple appearance. This lets it incorporate seamlessly into XR Rails®, allowing for installation across many applications – Flush Mount, Tilt Mount, and Ground Mount.

No More Show Stoppers

On-site assembly of Stopper Sleeves is no longer required on XR Rail® projects.

IronRidge is always focused on ways to streamline installations and EFO™ is yet another example of that commitment.

The Installation Process

Fasten end solar modules to XR Rails® using the EFO on each rail end.

Ensure clamps are hooked over the top of each module and held squarely in place while being tightened.

Torque EFO to 80 in-lbs.
